This is the thickest version of the cyanoacrylate glues that provides maximum gap-filling and extra strength for laminations and high-stress areas. It has a 1-2 minute set time that allows extra seconds for repositioning.
It is important to only use this glue, cyanoacrylate, in well ventilated areas. About 5% of the population can become sensitized to the fumes after repeated exposure, resulting in flu-like symptoms. It may also irritate skin on contact or cause an allergic skin reaction.
The United States National Toxicology Program and the United Kingdom Health and Safety Executive have concluded that the use of ethyl cyanoacrylate is safe and that additional study is unnecessary.
