Product Details

Marblewood can be found growing in Northeastern South America. It has a look that combines the light and dark patterning of Zebrawood with the color and texture of English Oak. Unlike Zebrawood, the dark brown streaks are more random and irregular in occurrence. Care must be taken to avoid splintering while working, and very sharp tools are necessary for clean results. The average weight of Marblewood is 53 lbs per cubic foot.

Because this is a natural material, the color and pattern will vary slightly from piece to piece. Please see the thickness tolerance below and note that thickness will change based on conditions like humidity.

Thinner boards take more time and labor to produce; therefore, while the 1/16" pieces are thinner, they are the same price as the 1/8" pieces.
