This Cyanoacrylate glue sets fast, usually within 10-20 seconds. The water consistency allows it to sink into porous material to provide extra reinforcement to the substrate. It forms a corrosive-resistant finish, and is good for both tack gluing and various final bonds. Ideal applications include prototyping, mold making, ceramic to metal bonds, wood working jewelry making, a wide range of craft projects and household repairs.
It is important to only use this glue, cyanoacrylate, in well ventilated areas. About 5% of the population can become sensitized to the fumes after repeated exposure, resulting in flu-like symptoms. It may also irritate skin on contact or cause an allergic skin reaction.
The United States National Toxicology Program and the United Kingdom Health and Safety Executive have concluded that the use of ethyl cyanoacrylate is safe and that additional study is unnecessary.
