Product Details

This silicone rubber is self-thickening and can be applied with a brush or spatula to vertical surfaces without sagging. It cures with insignificant shrinkage to a soft, flexible rubber. It does not stick to most surfaces, minimizing surface prep time, and features an easy part 1A:1B by weight or volume mix ratio. Four thin layers are all that is required to make a stretchy, strong and durable production mold for casting wax, gypsum, concrete or resins like urethane or polyester.

Any limitations or other information that is useful to know about this material?

This product will not work with modeling clays containing sulfur under any circumstances.

Also, although not usually necessary, a release agent will make demolding easier when pouring into or over most surfaces.

Use in a properly ventilated area. Wear safety glasses, long sleeves and rubber gloves to minimize contamination risk. Wear vinyl gloves only. Latex gloves will inhibit the cure of the rubber.
