General Information

This is still just a Design/prototype with no X-Carve access. Light up accent pieces for the wedding! One engraved plastic piece and one wood with space for LED’s and 3×18650. Add silicone to put some flowers or fill with glass rocks. Easel links in instructions. #EaselPowerHour.

Carve

50 minutes

Load in a suitable clear plastic into the X-carve and cut the plastic piece:
Carve time <23 min
Material dimensions recommended: 3″ × 11″ × 1/8"

Load up some wood test with some (plywood or mdf first)
Carve time < 20 minutes

Prep after cutting

To bend The plastic into a cylinder a heat gun will probably be needed unless the plastic chosen was flexible.
Heat up the plastic and form it using the inner circle and outer disc of the wood to hold the shape while it cools.

Sand the wooden pieces and the edges of the plastic.

Break the battery compartment tabs off if you plan to use the 18650’s

Assemble

Assemble the plastic and wood using silicone caulk or friction fit if water tight isn’t desired. Add Led strip, batteries and wires.
