Main pocket

20 minutes

Attach wood to cutting surface using double sided tape.
Zero machine
Load gcode – main pocket – and start machine.

Outline

15 minutes

Load outline file (pentagon_outside_35.nc) and cut outside of board.
Remove board from cutting surface when complete and discard leftover pieces.

NOTE1: 1" or greater cut length on router bit is required.

NOTE2 – maintain board orientation after removing. Otherwise, when you add the overlays you will have to rotate everything until it lines up.

Walnut Rings

10 minutes

Attach walnut to cutting surface using double sided tape.
Zero machine
Load ring13 file and start machine.
Carefully pull up rings when complete.

Padauk rings

Attach Padauk to cutting surface using double sided tape.
Zero machine
Load ring24 file and start machine.
Carefully pull up rings when complete.

Assemble

5 minutes

Place inner most ring on main board.
Continue placing rings by working outward until complete

6

Sand and Finish

Sand with 100, 150, 200, 400 sand paper until smooth.
Finish with a coat of bees wax or your favorite polish.
