General Information

We made simple geode-shaped slices and then covered them with resin to make them look like real geodes! Full video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pTvd1g8gYY

Follow video tutorial to make your own geode slice

This is one of those projects that is easier to explain visually than in text! It’s really quick and fun, but we do recommend playing with resin on a smaller piece first to get the hang of it :)

Thanks so much! Can you also share which gems, gold dust, and brands of dye you used? Also, what was the total time from start to "now we let it dry"?

Everything is in the description of the YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pTvd1g8gYY) and might be a bit much to paste here. I'd say once we mixed we had everything done for each pour within 20 minutes or so :)
