I designed a tray to allow a Garmin GDL 5xR to be mounted under/over the Appareo ESP transponder tray in small aircraft installations.
Uses a 13 × 8 in. piece of 0.032 2024-T3 aluminum.

The sides mount to the same six mounting locations used by the Appareo Stratus ESG transponder tray and the six holes on the flat are matched to the Garmin GDL 5xR ADS-B receiver mounting bolt hole locations.
