parting out and sanding

You will need to get the parts out of the wast material. Use a hobby knife to cut off any tabs and sand the parts smooth.

4

knobs

Place the knobs over the ends of the bolts and nuts. Add glue to keep them in place. Do not get glue in the threads.

5

glue up shade

Glue the rings starting with the 4 1/2" one first and working up gluing the solid 3" circle to the top. Then using one of the arms for a spacer glue the shade supports on to the top of the shade

6

glueing up base

1-glue the 5" circle to the center of the 10" circle and attach the lower mount arm to the 5 inch circle

Put together and install your lighting in to the shade use the 1/4" hole in the top of the shade to run your wires

8

asembly

Take one of your 1/4" bolts and place a washer on it now take the 2 10" arms and place them on either side of the base bracket and align the holes. Put the 1/4" bolt through the holes and place a washer on the other side with a nut on the out side

Nice. Replace the shade with a HF 9 LED flashlight. http://easel.inventables.com/projects/loaZmDJnXZSgrHhGCQSBUA# Stack and glue the parts. One ring has a lip in the ID. Put that on the end with the lip out. Drill a 1/4" hole through the fork. Mount it on Gemel's stand, slide in your flashlight.
