General Information

About a year ago I purchased parts from Inventables to upgrade my 1000mm x 1000mm X-Carve and transform it into a mammoth 1800mm x 1000mm machine, which I’ve nicknamed the siX-Carve, as it’s just under six feet long.

Would you by chance have any pictures of your machine after installing these? Or do you have any input on if they have caused any issue for you? I'm just trying to find out if there's any drawbacks to doing this upgrade before machining the parts. Any input would be helpful, thanks, Drew.

This allows more clearance for larger material. I'm in the process of upgrading to a Linear C beam, so I actually don't have pictures as of yet. The only drawback would be if you are using thinner materials, so you would have to put a sacrificial board on your wasteboard to boost up the height.

Hey this is super cool. I've been wanting to do this since I got mine but wasn't sure if it was possible. I want to make mine 10 feet actually. Do you forsee any issues with going even longer? thanks

Is there another place to get the easel file? I can't open it. Or at least the dimensions.
