Client Specialist

This position is located in Chicago.

The Role:

Inventables has a client team dedicated to helping our clients succeed by attending to their specific innovation needs. Our customer success team helps map use of Inventables to the client's workflow and works with vendors to make meaningful manufacturer/supplier connections. Specific tasks required to help our clients succeed include: assisting with sample requests and technology reports, designing training programs, and assisting in product development.

Responsibilities will include the following tasks:

Manage client cases (incoming requests from customers for vendor contacts, sample requests, problems, etc.)
Work on client related projects
Pro-active calling of new clients for training as needed
Assisting with product development and executive dashboard development
Scheduling meetings/putting together presentations

You:

You are an energetic, intelligent, creative individual. You feel comfortable talking shop with engineers and having a business conversation with marketing folks. You may have had a purely technical role in the past but you are naturally more outgoing than your peers and have decided during the next step in your career you want to refine your business skills. You are the kind of person who likes finishing things, if things are left open it bugs you at night. Of course you have good client hands meaning you have the ability to make people feel comfortable and confident when working with you.

Requirements:

Honesty
Customer service attitude
Strong communication and phone skills
Minimum 2 years of client service experience
Creative problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Persistent/consistent follow-up attitude (person that likes to close loops)
Project management a plus
Technology/engineering background a strong plus
