Client Engagement Manager

What is Inventables looking for?

Inventables is looking for an individual with management consulting experience and an engineering degree. The candidate should have managed a team and be adept at managing client relationships focused on business improvement, product development, and innovation. This experience must be working with consumer product companies that have revenues over one billion dollars. Strong communication and presentation skills combined with the ability to make clients feel comfortable and confident are a must.

Responsibilities

This position will contribute to our customer satisfaction and renewal metrics. Specific Duties Include:

  1. This is a client focused position. You will be working with our global Fortune 1000 clients to insure their success using the Inventables Innovation Center. This will involve three primary activities:
    1. Delivering invigorating kick-off, strategy, and training meetings to inform and motivate our clients.
    2. Helping the client achieve success on an on-going basis, including quarterly update meetings and weekly phone calls, to ensure on-going success that leads to profit.
    3. Developing a strategy and metrics for how Inventables will best be utilized by each client.
  2. Conceptualizing and communicating key principles and anecdotes that lead to client success to create best practice reports and case studies.
  3. Continually refining and improving the activities associated with working with Inventables to best guide and engage the teams.
  4. Acting as a feedback mechanism and key member of the Inventables product development team to direct product improvements.
  5. Traveling: Travel is required, will be global, and is expected to be two to four times per month (one to two days at a time).

You will be responsible for putting our clients in a position to succeed. As a client engagement manager, you are the main point of contact for the client. You must be a trusted resource and expert to guide them in improving their product development process.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years professional work experience
  • A demonstrated track record of strong client management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong large audience presentation skills
  • A determined, self-disciplined, "can-do" attitude-enjoy "rolling-up your sleeves and getting hands dirty"
  • Experience with consumer product development and innovation in companies with greater than 1 billion in revenue
  • A willingness to travel two to four times per month (one to two days at a time)
  • Strong project management skills
  • An engineering degree
